Playful, Pattern-filled Home

Ready for a change, the homeowner embarked on a journey to revitalize their space, aiming for a more cohesive and complete feel. The challenge? Working around a large, existing built-in and integrating a desk into a room with several doorways. Our solution? A custom-made, floating desk with a hidden compartment for cords and a cleverly concealed printer drawer.

One of our favorite touches is the green velvet chairs in the living room. Adorned with elegant nailhead trim, they infuse the space with vibrant color and sophistication. Another playful element is the dog-themed wallpaper in the back bathroom–a whimsical touch that perfectly suits its location near the garage. In the powder room, large grasscloth circles add depth and texture to the small space.

This transformation unfolded over a couple of years, completed in stages to ensure each element aligned perfectly with the homeowner's vision and budget. From the beginning, we discussed investment details to ensure that every chosen item fit within the desired spending range.

When selecting wallpaper for the formal powder room, we chose a design with a large pattern, creating an illusion of more space. The grasscloth texture added a unique element to a room where textural diversity is limited.

Our vision for this home was to create spaces that feel as welcoming for a group as they do for an individual. Whether the homeowners are entertaining their adult children or enjoying a quiet moment alone, each living space is designed to adapt seamlessly.
