Colorful Home Office

Welcome to a glimpse of our colorful home office project in the historic district of Greenville! For this special room, we had the delightful challenge of creating a space that could be an office, den, and guest bedroom, all while keeping in tune with the historic charm of the area.

The room was blessed with plenty of windows, bringing in lots of natural light. We had to be smart about where to put the furniture and the custom-built-ins, especially considering the sofa bed that needed space to unfold. The sconces flanking the bookcases really add a cozy, customized touch. And the rug! It's a piece I found months before and knew it was perfect the moment I stepped into the room.

The project took us nine months from start to finish. We always make sure our clients know what to expect investment-wise, so there were no surprises at the end. When styling the shelves, we played with different looks–some shelves had one large item for impact, others had books arranged in varying directions. The result? Each shelf is unique–yet together, they create a harmonious look.

We envisioned our clients unwinding here with an after-work drink, listening to their favorite records (yes, we made room for their extensive record collection!), or curling up with a book and their cat. And for guests, we wanted to create a cozy nook that feels just as comfortable.

We're thrilled with how it turned out and so are the homeowners, a perfect blend of functionality, style, and personal touch.
