Curated, Classic Home

My passion for antiques, vintage finds, and vibrant colors shaped my journey to create a truly one-of-a-kind space in my own home. Each room, each piece has its own story, making the entire house a tapestry of memories and artistic expression.

In the den, with its low ceilings, I designed custom-built shelves that reach up to the ceiling, creating an illusion of height. But these aren’t just any shelves – they feature a unique pattern that brings character to the room. Filled with carefully chosen accessories, these shelves have become a highlight, adding to the room's unique charm.

There are so many pieces I adore. The club chairs in the kitchen, for instance, are a dream come true. They're not just furniture; they're a gathering spot for cooking, homework, and conversations. Nearby hangs an overspray from my husband’s godfather's art studio, a piece rich in history and imagination. My children love finding shapes in it, like umbrellas, mountains, and unicorns.

Another treasure is the wooden island in my kitchen, a piece with a story stretching back to a 1700’s bakery in France. Discovered in a dusty shop window in the south of France, it’s now the heart of our kitchen, used daily for meal preparations.

The project is ongoing–a home evolving with time, with no fixed timeline or budget. In the dining room, with its vaulted ceilings, I added tongue and groove boards instead of a smooth drywall ceiling, giving it texture and depth. The large wall is adorned with a series of woodcuts, creating an engaging visual as soon as you step through the front door.

Every corner of my home reflects a piece of history, a splash of color, or a unique story. It's a space that isn't just lived in; it's loved, a reflection of a life rich in experiences and memories.
