Bookcase Styling: The Cover Debate

Bookcase styling can be oh-so fun! Bookcases take lots and lots of stuff though. I always add lots of books but there is a debate on whether someone should keep the book covers on or take them off. For clients I almost always take them off but on my own bookcases I keep them on. What do you think?
